"We are moved from the heart to give to the Mishkan" Exodus 25:1-8

Our Community is supported through your generosity.

Please give as your heart so moves you.

Giving

Make an impact by giving to a fund that's meaningful to you!

Please see the many ways you can support Temple Kol Ami below. Making a gift to one of the areas below is an impactful way to support our synagogue community. It is also an opportunity to honor someone and celebrate their accomplishments or memorialize your loved ones and comfort others who have suffered a loss.

To make a more long term impact, please consider making a bequest to Temple Kol Ami to secure both your legacy and provide our community with future financial security. Please see the planned giving section below.

When you're ready to donate, please click the "click to donate" button above, which will take you to a payment form. Members, please log in to your account before making a donation. Guests (and members who do not log in) must pay by credit card or mail us a check with a note that explains your donation.

The funds listed below can be found in the dropdown list next to the word "type" on the payment form.  To donate to a specific fund, please select it and complete the rest of the form. For donations to multiple funds, please submit them one donation at a time. For members who wish to write a check for multiple donations, first log in so you will have the option to "bill to account." Once you have submitted forms for all the donations you would like to make, you can write a single check or submit a payment vial electronic funds transfer (also called an ACH, and this must be set up in your account with the office in advance). You are also welcome to mail a check with a written list of how you would like those funds distributed.

Planned Giving

We all make decisions during our lifetimes that reflect our values, including what legacy might live beyond our years. Have you considered including Temple Kol Ami in your estate planning? Planned giving is one of the most powerful ways for congregants to acknowledge the importance of their synagogue life. A legacy gift will allow us to continue our commitment to strong Jewish values, education and spiritual growth. A gift from your estate will help ensure the vitality of Temple Kol Ami beyond your lifetime and for generations to come. There are many ways to include Temple Kol Ami in your current and estate financial plans:

Donate Stock

If you donate stock to Temple Kol Ami that you have owned for one year or longer, and the stock is worth more than you originally paid, there can be beneficial tax advantages for you.

Remember Temple Kol Ami in Your Will:

List TKA (or a specific TKA Endowment Fund) as a beneficiary in your will or estate planning.

IRA Distributions:

Consider a qualified charitable distribution (QCD) to Temple Kol Ami to satisfy all or part of your required minimum distribution (RMD) from your IRA.

Use Life Insurance to make a Gift:

We can help you explore options, including naming TKA as a beneficiary for an existing policy, or purchasing a new policy naming TKA as the beneficiary. There are tax advantages for both methods.

Create a Charitable Remainder Trust:

Receive income each year from the Trust that you create with the remaining balance going to Temple Kol Ami after you are gone.
