Prayer at Temple Kol Ami is a highly participatory experience. Here we want to hear every voice. We love music too, and at Temple Kol Ami we want to be part of the music. We strive to make the service accessible to everybody at every level of observance.
We welcome individuals of all ages to be part of our services. In our sanctuary you’ll see younger congregants admire the devotion of their elders, and more experienced members schep naches upon (take pride in) the youth.
At Temple Kol Ami, prayer is sincere and familiar, but can also be loose and informal. We honor prayers and melodies, both classic and contemporary, occasionally incorporating those composed by members of our congregation.
In Hebrew or in English, we are all here to learn and to pray together. And when our voices join together, there is sound, music and excitement like none other.
