Early Childhood

Every family deserves a supportive and welcoming atmosphere to nurture their youngest minds. TKA partners with young families to offer fun and age-appropriate programs such as play groups, story time and crafts.

Shabbat Together/B’Yachad

At TKA Friday night is family night! Join us for a Friday pre-Shabbat gathering for children newborn to age 5 with their parents and/or caregivers (Grandparents, nannies, aunts, uncles, etc). Enjoy stories, songs, puppets and more with plenty of time to play and socialize with other families. Contact us or see flier for upcoming dates.

Stay and play

Stay and Play

Stay and Play is our TKA “play group.” Occasional weekday mornings young children and their caregivers (parents, grandparents, nannies, etc.) come and play at TKA in our preschool classroom where they explore Jewish toys, stories and songs while socializing with other young families.

Tot Time

Tot Time/My First Sunday School

Even our youngest learners can begin their Jewish journey at TKA. Once or twice a month, skilled educators lead our youngest congregants, birth through age 2, through a Sunday- school like day with a parent, grandparent or caregiver. Games, songs and crafts help the little ones become accustomed to, and look forward to, when they are “Big kids” and can join in the fun each week.

Forest KATs (Kol Ami Tots)

Forest KATs is a free, stroller-friendly program on several weekday mornings throughout the year. Here we begin to introduce our youngest members and their families to the connection between Judaism and nature. Babies, toddlers and preschoolers are invited with a parent, grandparent or caregiver to join in the outdoor fun and learning!
