TEMPLE KOL AMI FAMILY RELIGIOUS SCHOOL MISSION STATEMENT
The purpose of the Temple Kol Ami Family Religious School as a component of the Temple, is to:
- Provide a warm, welcoming, friendly environment which promotes lifelong personal and religious growth.
- Incorporate meaningful active learning experiences that are relevant to our students and their lives and enhances their commitment to Reform Judaism.
- Foster the development of our students’ Jewish identity, sense of ethical Jewish behavior and the importance of mitzvot and tikun olam.
- Foster knowledge of a commitment to the extended Jewish family which begins in the home and Temple and includes local, national, and global communities.
- Instill a rich knowledge of Jewish culture and history.
- Foster sensitivity to the range of religious beliefs, cultures, and philosophies within Judaism as well as other religions and cultures.
- Incorporate family education and learning as families within our teachings.
